Michelle made a good evening a very special evening, from the outset she wanted to make sure I had the songs that I wanted, for the various ages at the party. She started with Adele at my request – and then the rest of the evening a great mix of Dusty, Duffy, Soul, Motown all sung so beautifully. Michelle Lawson doesn’t just sing at you, she sings to you. I have heard only two other British female singers during the last decade who can match Lawson’s compelling vocal projection.
