The band have taken the decision to continue to build on the amazing foundation created by all of the important former band members who have helped make The Glitz Europe's premier 70's show band Where every sensational show they play has an electric atmosphere and is an unforgettable experience !
They still pay homage to all the glam greats - Mud Sweet, T Rex, Slade, Queen plus this year there are new songs in the show and new band member Stefan on guitar, keyboards and vocals adds new dimensions to their sound
The band encompasses all the 70's tribute shows in one spectacular party -and it is a totally LIVE show! They firmly believe that you can play to a very high standard and still have fun
The variety of their set is one reason why many people say they love the shows, rockers enjoy the Hawkwind, Black Sabbath, Alice Cooper side of the show while the glammy's adore T Rex, Sweet, Mud, Slade and even the Osmonds or The Bay City Rollers!
There is always room for a few smash hit disco tracks: Bee Gees, Grease Medley and more, plus popular stuff from Steve Harley, Sensational Alex Harvey Band, Abba and Queen.
The Glitz use no backing tapes - even their full length version of 'Bohemian Rhapsody' is totally live. They also use no sequencers as they try to use authentic instrumentation from the period.
