James is an acclaimed English Elvis tribute artist, based in Devon in the U.K. He was one of the top three Elvis acts at the Porthcawl Elvis Tribute competition in 2016, and was a finalist in the European Elvis Tribute Championships 2017. Perfect for Theme nights, Tribute Nights, Functions or Events.
Although James has been a variety singer for many years, he has been a life long fan of Elvis Presley and when performing his tribute act, James tries to convey Elvis's charisma and sense of playfulness on stage, which he combines with his own personality. Being a Sony Award winning national and regional radio presenter for almost 20 years has given James the ability to really connect and engage with an audience.
James captures Elvis's sound and adopts his mannerisms and stage actions, but you won't find him doing any typically clichéd things; for example, he won't wear sunglasses on stage because Elvis never did, nor will he talk like Elvis between songs, instead choosing to simply use his own voice.
To make the show sound and look it’s best, James’ act uses the finest quality Elvis backing tracks on the market today as well as jumpsuits made by B&K Enterprises in America who employ those who made Elvis’ own stagewear.
