So many elements of our wedding day exceeded our hopes and expectations but you guys smashed it out of the park. Belting out full bodied funk, you were so TIGHT and took no prisoners. My diamanté Vans are gratifyingly destroyed (along with my knees - no wonder James Brown turned to angel dust!) Thanks for being such terrific sports. You were no stress, all fun - like the day itself - and you played such a pivotal role in launching what had been a delightful day into a five hour danceathon. Mission accomplished!

Empire State delivered a fine performance at Caerleon’s recent May Ball, plenty of old mixed with new to keep the varied crowd pleased, and the crowd were happy to show their appreciation in return. Their 45 minute set was obviously well practiced and well honed, and the band gelled well together on stage, that was easy to see. I would definitely consider calling them back in for future performances, and will advise my successor to do so!
