After leaving Jamaica in the 60s, Jimmy James formed his own band `The Vagabonds` who supported The Who and Rod Stewart at The Marquee Club in London and later also supported Sonny & Cher and The Rolling Stones
The Vagabonds disbanded in 1970 and Jimmy who owned the name, reformed a new band in 1974 and went on hit the UK singles charts with `I`ll go where the music takes me` and `Now is the Time`
Jimmy is an amazing, ever popular performer and tours the UK with his live band
