George Michael Tribute for Hire
Simply George Michael is an established tribute to the music of George Michael and Wham!, combining powerful live vocals, recognisable stage mannerisms and iconic costumes. From expressive ballads to upbeat pop favourites, the show celebrates the songs that made George Michael such a distinctive and much-loved performer.
With more than 10 years of professional singing experience, the artiste brings an assured stage presence and a genuine appreciation of the music to weddings, corporate events, private parties and dedicated tribute nights.
The repertoire spans George Michael’s solo career and the infectious energy of Wham!, with favourites including Faith, Careless Whisper, Outside, Fastlove and Freedom! ’90, alongside songs such as Club Tropicana, I’m Your Man and Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go.
The contrast between heartfelt ballads and lively dance tracks gives the show variety, offering familiar songs for guests to sing along to and plenty of opportunities to take to the dance floor.
Costume options include the distinctive purple suit and the American police-style outfit associated with Outside. Combined with characteristic George Michael dance moves and expressive vocal delivery, these visual details add to the atmosphere of the tribute.
The performer’s wider career also includes appearing as a judge on BBC One’s All Together Now alongside Geri Horner.
Simply George Michael can perform a dedicated 60 minute tribute set or a two-set package comprising a 45 minute tribute and a 45 minute mixed party set. The latter offers a way to combine the George Michael and Wham! celebration with a broader selection of party music.
A live band option is also available on request. Contact Garston Entertainments to discuss the format, timings and production requirements for your event.
