Live 80s Tribute Band for Hire
The 80s Playback is a live 80s tribute show built around three versatile performers. Vocals, keyboards, guitar, violin, choreography and era-inspired costumes bring the decade's pop, new wave, soul and rock favourites to life. With more than ten years of performances behind the show, the band has entertained audiences across the UK and in Thailand.
Each member of the core line-up takes on more than one role, combining singing, live instruments and dance in a lively, audience-led performance. It is a celebration of the songs and styles of the 1980s, with familiar choruses, dance-floor moments and plenty of chances to join in.
The repertoire moves from “Kids in America”, “A Little Respect” and “Don't You Want Me” to “Walking on Sunshine”, “Footloose”, “I Wanna Dance with Somebody” and “Livin' on a Prayer”. Madonna, Culture Club, Blondie, Cyndi Lauper and Wham! medleys add to the range, alongside anthems associated with Kate Bush, Prince and Tina Turner. Christmas favourites are also available for seasonal events.
